Top 10 Capricorn Eminent Personalities & Traits

The typical Capricorn is unique enough – just like other signs – that you can often identify one easily. Let’s learn more about the Capricorn Eminent Personalities.

People born between the 22nd December and the 20th January (Wikipedia) are born under the 10th zodiac sign, the Capricorn. The symbol of this star sign is the Mountain Goat, a creature that strives for the top and eventually gets there with steady steps. With their drive, willingness to work hard, and determination to succeed, they always reach their goals. They are the planners and strategists of the zodiac.

Capricorns like planning things in advance to achieve security and stability. They tend to be highly practical people who like structure, organization, and tradition. They are also cautious, responsible, and always play fair.

With the help of astrology, we can understand ourselves and the people around us better. Read on to learn more.

1. Dependable and Responsible

Capricorn is typically the strong friend who is always there to help. They can get someone back on their feet again, and for all this, they expect nothing in return. With their sympathetic, caring, and helpful personality, they are friends for a lifetime. They don’t shy away from tough projects or problems. Their sense of responsibility and discipline will get them to reach their goals.

2. Organized and Structured

Being the planners and strategists of the zodiac, Capricorns are highly practical people. They like structure, organization, and routines because it makes them feel safe. They like to give structure and organize other people’s lives too, which might don’t go along well with everyone. They can be closed-minded a times, thinking that there are only a right way and a wrong way to do things and their way is the right one.

3. Ambitious

Capricorns are very ambitious people, always have a goal to reach and something they are pursuing. This makes them feel fulfilled and important. Their need for financial and material security is also a driving force behind their ambitious character. But most importantly, they want to succeed and feel appreciated. Underneath that often quiet, mild-mannered exterior, there is a strong desire to attain whatever targets they set for themselves.

4. Strong and Down-to-Earth

Earth is the ruling element for Capricorns; no wonder they are with both feet on the ground. Their personality is grounded in reality; they are like a rock that everyone else likes to lean on. They are known for their common sense and mature outlook on life. They are self-assured, strong-willed and they truly know who they are.

5. Practical and Realistic

Capricorns are taking one step at a time; they’re not interested in wild ideas or round-the-world dreams. They like to plan things, being as realistic and pragmatic as possible. As a result of this, they excel at anything they turn their mind to.

6. Patient

Capricorns are extremely patient; they will wait a long time for their ship to come in. With their hard-working, ambitious attitude, they are happy to put in a full day at the office, climbing the ladder steadily because they know they will get to the top. Once they get to the top of their chosen field, they can reap the benefits of success; fame, prestige, and money.

7. Conventional and Serious

People born under this sign usually follow the norms of right and wrong. They tend to be quite conventional and even conservative at times. They tend to be family-oriented with traditional values. Although they are conservative themselves, they are open-minded about others, never judgmental. They are usually serious when younger, but they light up more as they get older.

8. Controlling

They are known for keeping their emotions tightly under control as well. Capricorn likes to control their surroundings and their daily lives, which can sometimes spill into other people’s lives. They like to do things the way they think it is right, and they tend to impose their ways on others. If there is one lesson the Capricorn-born can learn is to accept that there is more than one way of doing things and respecting others’ way.

9. Hard-working and Persistent

Capricorn puts a lot of effort and hard work into his/her career. They’ll get up every morning and see to it that their job is done to the highest degree of quality possible. Quietly going on like that for days, months, or years because they know that in the end, the reward will be worth it. They tend to sacrifice personal time when they are young to live a luxurious lifestyle in comfort when they get older. They like to surround themselves with nice material things as a reward for all their hard work. At times they tend to get competitive about it. This is because they are a little insecure under the confident surface, and they need these things to make them feel safer. They often have to prove themselves worthy of being loved.

10. Mild-mannered and Calm

Capricorns are always polite and friendly. They are self-contained and reserved – especially with people they don’t know – because they are conscious of their social image. People might get a false impression of them being loners. However, this is not the case. They are deep and mysterious. Capricorns usually have a small circle of close friends. Being family-oriented and home-loving, they are the happiest when they can share all the nice stuff they worked for so hard.

  1. I’m a Capricorn who is 18, moved 900 miles from home 2 weeks after my 18th birthday, works 85+ (literally) hours each week, supports myself 100% and wouldn’t want it any other way. This is so accurate it gives me chills.

  2. This didn’t fit me really. My birthday is one dec. 28th and I am so NOT organized. I do everything last minute and sometimes it stresses me out but that’s how I work. I’m am anything but structured and hate being a self starter. I need direction always and am not all that serious. I really cling to hope and faith more than what I can ‘make’ happen.
