Adequate nutrition is important in disease prevention. This is becoming an increasingly important tactic in preventive dentistry. For example your food should be rich with calcium-fortified juices, milk and other dairy products rich in calcium and vitamin D. Cheese, rich in calcium, helps in the way that mixes with plaque and sticks to the teeth, protecting them from the acid that causes decay and helping to rebuild tooth enamel on the spot. Crisp fruits and raw vegetables, like apples, carrots and celery, help clean plaque from teeth and freshen breath.
Sip Carbonated Drinks With a Straw
Drinking soda once a day puts your teeth at a higher risk for acid erosion, even when sugar-free, are also potentially erosive because of their acidic properties. It will help in reducing the pain occurring due to cavities. Also anti- bacterial properties of tea tree oil will help in healing cavities or reducing pain. This oil also can be diluted in water.
Use Honey and Butter More Often
Honey is ancient and important for the treatment of cavities. It is a natural method of healing the affected tooth. Consuming honey often protects teeth and heal inflammation occurring between certain teeth. Butter is also useful and it can be taken in raw form, бut if it is more convenient to use butter as butter oil.
Clove and Camphor
It’s a natural remedy used to treat toothache. Add one or two drops of clove oil into the tooth cavity. You can also apply camphor or clove oil with a cotton ball on the affected area, it will decrease the pain.
