The difference between a depressed women and depressed men is in the irritability level. Many women who are facing depression will most likely avoid all kinds of conflicts, they will feel slowed down, nervous and often times scared.

9. Self-Loathing



If you constantly criticize yourself for mistakes and feel worthless and guilt, it is a symptom. Extreme dislike and hatred toward one-self is destructive and could lead to self-destructive thoughts as suicide. Don’t be afraid to talk to someone about it, a professional .

10. Feeling Helpless and Hopeless
