(30 g), 1 can solid light tuna fish in olive oil, 5 oz. (140 g), ½ teaspoon lemon juice, ½ garlic clove, salt, and pepper to taste. After you prepare the salad, spread it on pieces of low carb high-fat bread, grate some cheese on top, add paprika powder or cayenne pepper and bake until the cheese is well – melted.
2. Asparagus Stuffed Mini Peppers
Ready in 10 minutes, this recipe will make 24 servings of delicious mini peppers filled with asparagus and cheese. To prepare, make sure you have 12 mini bell peppers, 12 stalks of asparagus, 1 cup Parmesan cheese, 1/2 cup goat cheese, 6 cloves garlic, 1 tbsp lemon zest, 1/4 cup chives, sea salt, and black pepper. Before you start preparing the appetizers, you’ll need to cut the peppers lengthwise and remove the seeds and the ribs. Also, trim and cut the asparagus into 4 pieces of even length and shred the Parmesan.
3. Cucumber – Stuffed Cherry Tomatoes
These wonderful appetizers are so delicious and light that you can even serve as a side dish. They take a little time to make, and you can make plenty of these stuffed tomatoes in no time. Just make sure you have the needed ingredients: 24 cherry tomatoes, 1 package softened cream cheese, 2 tablespoons mayonnaise, 1/4 cup finely chopped peeled cucumber, 1 tablespoon finely chopped green onion, and 2 teaspoons minced fresh dill. Make a mixture out of the ingredients (except the tomatoes), cut the cherry tomatoes’ top, and scoop out the pulp. Add a spoon of the mixture inside and refrigerate until serving.
4. Zucchini Pizza Bites
The zucchini pizza bites are a great recipe for replacing the good old pizza if you’re willing to lose some weight! These guilty pleasures are really easy to prepare and will be done in no time. You need the following ingredients: 2 large zucchini, nonstick cooking spray, kosher salt, freshly cracked pepper, 1/4 cup marinara sauce, 1/2 cup shredded part-skim mozzarella, 1/4 cup mini pepperoni pieces, and Italian seasoning for sprinkling. First, grill the zucchini bites and then top the rest ingredients – marinara sauce, shredded cheese, mini pepperoni, and Italian seasoning. Broil for few minutes until the cheese is melted.

The original recipe requires the following ingredients: 3 medium cucumbers, ¼ cup store-bought basil pesto, 6 slices mozzarella slices cut into ½ inch strips, 6 oz shredded deli smoked turkey breast, 1 bell pepper thinly sliced into matchsticks, 1/2 cup shredded spinach, salt, and pepper for seasoning. It takes 15 minutes to make all the servings, making them the appetizer you need when in a hurry. The best part of all, besides being delicious, is that one roll-up contains only 52 calories! It can be the perfect dinner snack.
6. Sweet Potato Bites
If you want to taste a small guilty pleasure piece of food, then these appetizers are going to satisfy your cravings because they’re made out of sweet potatoes, cheese, and crispy bacon. More precisely, you need ingredients to make your own sweet potatoes like the ones on the picture – 1 lb sweet potatoes sliced in ¼ inch thick slices, 3 tbsp olive oil or more if needed, sea salt and black pepper to taste, ½ cup sharp shredded cheddar cheese, 6 slices bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled, 1/3 cup sour cream and 2 chopped green onions.
7. BBQ Cauliflower Poppers
The best part of these healthy appetizers is that you only need four ingredients to prepare. It won’t empty your wallet, yet still, you will have a healthy and delicious appetizer. What you need is 1 head of cauliflower, 1/4 cup bbq sauce, 1/4 cup mayo, and 1 cup corn flake crumbs or bread crumbs. All you have to do is wash and cut the cauliflower; mix the mayo and the bbq sauce. Dip the cauliflower pieces into the mixture and then coat them in the bread crumbs or flake crumbs. Place them on a greased baking sheet and bake at 450′ for about 20 to 25 minutes. When they get crispy, take them outside.
8. Caesar Salad in Carrot Parmesan Cups
