Pale skin doesn’t do well with neutral eye shadows. Creams and beige will wipe out your complexion instead of giving you dimension. Avoid them at all cost.

The next beauty tip for pale skin deals with picking out the right foundation. Often times we have trouble picking out foundations because the colors look too pink or grey. We suggest taking advantage of the testers. Remember to test the foundation on your face not your hand. Look at the colour in the store and out in natural light before making your final decision.

Bronzer

A little bit of very light bronzer below the cheekbones and under your chin makes your face look thinner. Too much and you risk looking like you have some dirt on your face. Blush on the cheek bones, nose and the tip of your chin enhances your cheeks and makes your nose and chin look sharp. A very light pink gets the job done nicely.

No Light Clothes

Hair color can mean the difference between looking like a glowing goddess and looking sickly. Deep reds, chestnut and dark browns are dramatic and gorgeous colors for the light skinned. For a lighter look, honey blonde is very attractive. It’s best to avoid light red hair, especially if you are prone to being pink-skinned.

Fair skin is more likely to burn in the sun. Even when you think the risk for a burn isn’t likely, you still need to wear sunscreen. It is especially important to apply sunscreen to your face every day. Sun damage will age your skin causing dark spots, uneven complexion and wrinkles. Don’t let the sun ruin your beautiful fair skin.

This article is not accurate to me. Fair skin may not suit some things such as very light lipstick or pale pinks but to say “avoid nudes” and “don’t wear light clothing” is ridiculous. Fair ladies, you CAN wear a nude. Try to find the correct nude. Fairest Nude by L’oreal is a great one and I am very pale. It’s slightly pinky and looks beautiful with a darker eye or even a neutral eye, which also has been stated to not wear. I use a shimmery champagne or cream color on my lids, usually a taupe shade in the crease and occasionally I’ll go in with a chocolate brown and darken it up. Also, DO wear light colors because they will look beautiful on you just as they would on any other color. Off-whites don’t look at good as a stark white so keep that in mind, and try to incorporate some color in there with a necklace or cardigan if you’d like. Just a few tips that I hope help!

If people with pale skin aren’t supposed to dye their hair light red, what do us natural strawberry blondes do?
